"La Pierre"
From a grape that's famous for being
used to make wonderful dessert wines - here it is as a dry white.
A fabulously rich floral nose - classic Muscat - leads to lovely
flavors of pear and peach, moving to a dry finish with hints of citrus
and minerals. Great on its own as an aperitif, or paired
with all kinds of light appetizers, seafood, white meats, veggie dishes
and creamy cheeses.
Gamay
Montrieux 2006 "G"
The famous Beaujolais grape, Gamay is
usually associated with light, fruity, floral red wines. This
organically produced Gamay from the Coteaux du Vendomois is
medium-bodied and has lovely dark cherry and ripe berry fruit and a
wonderfully earthy finish. A great partner for roast chicken,
turkey, veggie dishes and medium cheeses.
